The initiator of the establishment of Osun Anglican Diocesan Nursery and Primary school was the Lord Bishop of the Diocese, the Rt. Rev. J.A. Popoola who assumed duty in this Diocese on 31st July, 2000. The school was established on 17th September, 2001.
Before resumption of the school, the old classroom blocks at the Bishopscourt, Isale-Aro, Osogbo were renovated and inspected by the Ministry of Works and Ministry of Health respectively.
The School was officially opened on 17th September 2001 at 8am with a short welcome service organized by the committee in charge. At that time, the school had a population of 70 pupils and 5 teachers including Chief S.A. Oguntunde, the pioneer Headmaster. Before the end of the third term in that 2001/2002 session, the enrolment had risen to 96.
On 2nd February, 2002 the Ministry of Education School Special Education and Inspectorate Department came to inspect the school. As a result of their findings, provisional approval to run the Nursery School was granted the school to Nursery and Primary was conducted and approval was granted.
We thank God that the school is growing steadily. The School which started with a population of 70 pupils and 5 teachers now has over 400 students with over 20 staffs including the Headmaster and non-teaching staff.

We thank God that history was made in the school on the 30th March 2006, when the First Inter-House Athletics Competition took place since its inception on 17th September, 2001. It covered many track and field events.
Many Nursery/Primary school from far and near turned up for the invitation Relay for boys and girls. We also had the staff race, as well as the parent race. We are grateful to the Diocesan for the presentation of a big Trophy and are also grateful to Mrs. Adenike Ojo, the Chairperson of the day from Laro Grammar School, Osogbo, for donating a beautiful plaque to the school for the Best Athlete.
